The Museum offers a unique and varied experience for all members of the family. It is an opportunity to become jointly acquainted with past masterpieces and present-day examples of innovative artistic expression; to hone your artistic contemplation and expression; and to lay the groundwork for productive conversation between parents and children. Beside the opportunity to view the permanent collections and changing exhibitions, the Museum also offers unique activities that provide fascinating and enjoyable family experiences – such as gallery tours for parents and children; a special gallery for the entire family; creativity and thinking workshops; gallery shows and productions for children.

Younes and Soraya Nazarian Family Experimental Center

We warmly suggest that you begin and/or end family visits at the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Family Experimental Center, located on the lower level (Level -1) of the Main Building. There, activity kits, exhibition guidance, and activity information sheets are available, that offer visitors various and accessible ways to appreciate the artworks. The Center’s creative workshops and gallery also offer numerous original activities and interactive sessions, which provide sensory and experiential ways of experiencing the art on display in its gallery, devoted to changing exhibitions for the whole family.

Activity for groups of children

The Museum also offers its range of activities for group visits of children aged five to ten years old – fun, experiential, and educational sessions that are conducted between the artworks, in the Museum’s engaging atmosphere, under the guidance of the Museum’s professional staff. These include art workshops, gallery shows based on works from the Museum collection, tours, and organized games in the galleries. These activities are suitable for birthday celebrations, team-building outings, and other purposes, and are adapted to the age and educational level of the participants. Joint activities for parents and children are also available.
