The Art Library in Memory of Meir Arison, Donated by the Ted Arison Family Foundation, is the leading art information center in Israel. It is a dedicated reference library for all fields of art, including the plastic arts, photography, architecture, design, and tangential disciplines such as crafts and art education.
The library’s collection contains around 100,000 books, about ninety printed journals, electronic journals, a rich multimedia collection, and computer databases. In addition, the Israeli Art Documentation Center, which is based at the library, regularly collects a variety of publications on artistic activity in Israel. All of these offer an up-to-date collection of research in the field of contemporary art and artistic endeavor in Israel and around the world. A generous donation from the Ted Arison Family Foundation has enabled new acquisitions on a regular basis, and the collection is also enhanced by a catalogue-exchange program with other museums and galleries in Israel and central museums around the world.
