Grandma’s Showcase at the Museum / A Show for the Entire Family
A wondrous miniature theatrical performance in a showcase, about the relationship between a grandmother and her granddaughter, and what remains of it forever.
In the middle of Grandma’s living room stood a showcase with lots of treasures and glittering objects. Each object has a story, and every story has an object. Liat loves Grandma, her treasures, and her beautiful stories very much. But now Grandma is sick, and everything is packed up in boxes. Just before they are taken to the warehouse, a mischievous snowman escapes from his crystal ball and sweeps up Liat and the audience on a journey through the stories and the objects. Inspired by the exhibitions Erwin Wurm: Away at Home and A History of Beauty: Helena Rubinstein’s Miniature Rooms.
